Hebrews 13:12-14 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. (13) Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. (14) For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. I wrote in my prayer journal yesterday ...Read More...

I asked my wife and daughter, "What would people say is the most misunderstood word in the Bible?"  They gave answers like faith, trinity, love, hope, propitiation, holiness, sin, and grace.  I believe the word grace is the most misunderstood word in the Bible.  Think about ...Read More...

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom ...Read More...

The answer to this question is simple if we believe what the Bible says about prayer.  James said, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16)  I believe that the most valuable thing any believer can do with their time is to pray.  Let's ...Read More...

I enjoyed introducing this sermon by inviting all the little childen to come to the altar.  I was dressed like a beggar with my little tin can.  I just took my suit coat off, pulled my tie down a little, pulled one side of my shirt out, and rubbed a little mud on my face.  None of the ...Read More...

I am currently studying the scriptures that deal with God's plans to bless the world through the nation of Israel.  Israel was reborn as a nation in 1948 A.D.  Abraham, the father of the nation of Israel, was born 1948 years after creation.  The fullness of time has come again.  Our redemption draws near.
